13 robotic dinosaurs arrive in Golden Gate Park
13 animatronic dinosaurs have taken up residence at the California Academy of Sciences in San Francisco, delighting visitors of all ages with the “Dino Days” exhibit. Running from March 1 to September 1, 2025, this prehistoric extravaganza features lifelike models of iconic dinosaurs like Tyrannosaurus rex, Deinonychus, Parasaurolophus, and Pachyrhinosaurus. Children can marvel at baby dinosaurs hatching from eggs and even climb on top of some of the exhibits.
Apart from the impressive animatronic displays, the exhibit offers a range of engaging activities. Kids can try their hand at paleontology by digging for cast dinosaur bones in a sand-filled fossil pit. Special programming throughout the exhibit’s duration includes seminars by paleontologists, themed evenings with live performances of the “Jurassic Park” score, scavenger hunts, dino-trivia challenges, and opportunities to meet the T-Rex from the popular show “Dinosaur Train.”
