Houthis release mysterious video showing American flag-covered coffins
Houthi rebels in Yemen recently shared an online animation that featured American flag-draped coffins near sunken Navy vessels. “These terrorists seem unable to distinguish between fantasy and reality,” stated Hussain Abdul-Hussain, a research fellow at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies, regarding the Houthi animation.
The animated video commences with melancholic music as it depicts a coffin adorned with the American flag floating in water. Gradually, the animation zooms out, revealing multiple flag-draped coffins drifting away from destroyed warships.
This animation release follows President Donald Trump’s authorization of “decisive and potent” airstrikes against Houthi insurgents in Yemen. Trump conveyed on Truth Social that the group launched a relentless campaign of piracy, violence, and terrorism against American and other ships, aircraft, and drones. He emphasized the detrimental impact of these actions on the U.S. and global economy and the endangerment of innocent lives.
The White House displayed images of Trump monitoring the strikes on the Iran-backed terrorist organization alongside Secretary of State Marco Rubio and national security advisor Mike Waltz. Trump has undertaken these measures to safeguard U.S. maritime assets and curb terrorist threats against the country.
In response to the airstrikes, U.S. Central Command initiated precision strikes on Iran-aligned Houthi targets across Yemen to protect American interests, discourage adversaries, and uphold freedom of navigation. The Houthi-operated Health Ministry in Yemen confirmed that the strikes resulted in the deaths of at least 31 individuals.
The clashes between the U.S. and Houthi rebels have escalated, with Trump declaring, “To all Houthi terrorists, YOUR TIME IS UP, AND YOUR ATTACKS MUST STOP, STARTING TODAY. IF THEY DON’T, HELL WILL RAIN DOWN UPON YOU LIKE NOTHING YOU HAVE EVER SEEN BEFORE!” The U.S. government remains committed to countering threats posed by the Houthis and ensuring the security of American assets in the region.
