n Auckland’s music scene, Clementine, led by Liam Hansen, released their debut recorded track, ‘Limbs (demo)’, ahead of their show at Flying Out with Work. This track showcases a blend of guitar, drums, keys, and bass that keeps the energy high and emotions raw. All proceeds from the track go towards supporting their bassist Tāmoko and will aid in future recording and releases.

Voom, after a nineteen-year hiatus, are set to drop their new album, ‘Something Good Is Happening’, through Flying Nun Records on May 16th. The album kicks off with the heartwarming single ‘I Love You Girl’ and an endearing nature documentary-style music video by Murray Fisher of Goodshirt.

CRUSH, made up of Cello Forrester, Richard Larsen, Bevan Smith, Cory Champion, and Tom Callwood, have released their EP ‘GLOW’. The EP fuses elements of disco, soul, italo, synth-pop, and electronica into a body-moving mix that demands live performances from this talented group.

Velveteen’s latest album ‘Heavy Machinery’ is a bold display of emotive alt-rock, industrial, and grunge influences that pay homage to the ’90s and ’00s. The lead singer expresses a deep personal connection to the album, describing it as loud, angsty, and gothic with both angry and heartfelt moments.

Jay Clarkson & The Containers are gearing up for the release of their album ‘FALLING THROUGH’ with a show at Space Academy in Ōtautahi.
