A-Z announce new album featuring Ray Alder & Mark Zonder

The band known as A-Z was formed when Zonder started developing material in early 2020 with a specific vision in mind for the kind of band he wanted to create. He envisioned a band that would have broad appeal, much like music featured in beer or car commercials, drawing inspiration from Cobra Kai. Choosing the name A-Z, representing Alder through Zonder, was a deliberate decision to avoid pigeonholing the band’s sound. Zonder wanted to leave room for interpretation and not place limits on what listeners would expect from the group.
The band members are incredibly prolific, allowing for a seamless collaboration where everyone has the freedom to explore their musical ideas. With years of experience in live and recording settings, the members of A-Z instinctively know how to complement each other musically without overstepping. The focus is on the collective sound of the band rather than individual contributions.
