Bruce Springsteen has recently released a new song titled “Blind Spot,” giving fans a taste of what’s to come from his upcoming project, Tracks II: The Lost Albums. This specific track is part of an album called Streets of Philadelphia Sessions, delving into themes of doubt and betrayal within relationships.

Explaining the inspiration behind “Blind Spot,” Springsteen revealed that it was a theme he was drawn to at that particular moment. While he and his wife, Patti Scialfa, were enjoying themselves in California, the song’s concept of doubt and betrayal resonated with him, leading him to explore it further throughout the record. Despite the Streets of Philadelphia Sessions being completed in spring 1995, Springsteen made the decision to shelve the album and reconnect with the E Street Band.

“Blind Spot” can be listened to online, offering fans a glimpse into the musical journey Springsteen takes on this lost album. Tracks II: The Lost Albums, set to be released on June 27, unveils seven never-before-heard albums crafted by Springsteen between 1983 and 2018. In a trailer for the project, Springsteen reflects on his continuous work throughout the years, dispelling the notion of a “lost period” in the 90s by showcasing the hidden gems he has been meticulously working on.

The Lost Albums feature 82 tracks, with 74 of them being completely new songs waiting to be discovered. Each album within the collection has its own unique theme, from LA Garage Sessions ’83 to Twilight Hours, offering a diverse musical experience for listeners.
