Tanner Usrey is set to unveil his latest album, “These Days,” on July 11 through Atlantic Records. To give fans a taste of what’s to come, Usrey has just dropped a new track titled “Don’t Let Go (Hold Me Close).” Produced by Dave Cobb, “These Days” was recorded at both Nashville’s famous RCA Studio A and Cobb’s Savannah studio, presenting Usrey’s most intimate and introspective work yet. This album delves into poignant subjects like the challenges of mental health, the highs and lows of relationships, and personal reflections. The title track was introduced earlier this year alongside a music video.

Reflecting on his collaboration with Dave Cobb, Usrey shared, “Ever since I began recording music, I’ve dreamt of working with Dave Cobb. He has produced albums for some of my biggest influences, like Whiskey Myers, Chris Stapleton, and Jason Isbell. The experience of creating this album with Dave was truly invaluable. I believe that this record encapsulates the sound I’ve been striving for since the beginning of my career and pushes my vocal abilities in new directions, which has the band and me eager to perform it live.”

To celebrate the album’s release, Usrey will kick off his extensive “Bad Love Tour” this summer, with stops at top venues such as New York’s Bowery Ballroom, Lexington’s The Burl, Athens’ 40 Watt Club, Charleston’s The Windjammer, Chicago’s Joe’s on Weed St., Minneapolis’ Varsity Theater, Milwaukee’s Vivarium, and Pittsburgh’s Spirit Hall. Additionally, he will join forces with Dylan Gossett and Cody Jinks for select dates throughout the year.

Having already accumulated over 310 million streams, performed at numerous shows nationwide, and had his music featured in popular series like Yellowstone and Landman, Usrey’s star continues to rise. The tracklist for “These Days” includes songs that promise to captivate audiences, such as “Do It All Myself,” “If You Call Me Again,” “Better Weather,” “4th of July,” “Smoke in the Air,” “Bad Love,” “Don’t Let Go (Hold Me Close),” “These Days,” “With You,” and “Gasoline and Adderall.”

As fans eagerly anticipate the release of “These Days”, Tanner Usrey’s evolution as an artist is marking a significant chapter in his musical journey. With powerful storytelling and emotive performances, Usrey’s upcoming album is set to make waves in the country music scene.
