New Album “All-Star Tribute to Triumph” Set to Release

A highly-anticipated tribute album honoring the legendary Canadian rock band Triumph is set to release on June 6, 2025. Titled “Magic Power: All-Star Tribute to Triumph,” this album will feature a star-studded lineup of rock icons, including Slash, Sebastian Bach, Nancy Wilson, Joey Belladonna, Dee Snider, and Deen Castronovo, covering classic Triumph songs. The album, consisting of 15 tracks, will also showcase the talents of drummers Kenny Aronoff and Tommy Aldridge, and guitarists Bumblefoot, Paul Gilbert, and Nita Strauss.

Produced by the renowned Mike Clink, known for his work with Guns N’ Roses, Motley Crue, and Whitesnake, “Magic Power” pays homage to Triumph in a unique and compelling way. The project will be available on CD, vinyl, and special dark blue and white splatter vinyl, with pre-orders already accessible in the U.S. and the U.K.

Members of the music community, such as Phil X and Deen Castronovo, have expressed their excitement about the project. Phil X, a fellow Canadian and member of Bon Jovi, shared his joy in returning to his roots alongside Triumph band members Gil Moore, Mike Levine, and Rik Emmett. Deen Castronovo, the drummer for Journey, acknowledged the significant influence Triumph had on shaping his musical career.

Sebastian Bach, an avid fan of Triumph, described them as one of his favorite bands of all time. He will be featured on the album performing the classic “Rock & Roll Machine”. Dee Snider, known for his work with Twisted Sister, expressed his admiration for Triumph, particularly emphasizing the impact of their song “Lay It On the Line.” According to Snider, there is only one Rik and Triumph, and he considers it an honor to be part of this tribute.

Originally formed in 1975 in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, Triumph was known for its innovative approach to live performances. The band incorporated cutting-edge technology in their shows, including sophisticated lighting, sound, and effects. Their elaborate productions featured lasers, pyrotechnics, and moving lighting rigs, setting them apart as pioneers in the arena rock genre.

With a lineup of esteemed artists and a collection of classic songs, this tribute album promises to captivate fans of Triumph and rock music enthusiasts alike.
