Death Angel has recently dropped their latest single, titled “Wrath (Bring Fire),” along with an immersive visualizer created by Tamara Lienas of Aimed & Framed. This release precedes the launch of the band’s upcoming Summer of Wrath European Tour. The lyrics and melody for this track were crafted in January of 2021 when Osegueda, much like the rest of humanity, found himself confined to his home, grappling with feelings of loss, anger, and confusion.
Osegueda mentioned that during this time, he indulged in watching a variety of television shows, including medieval and fantasy genres, in search of escapism amidst the prevailing chaos. Drawing inspiration from these shows and his personal struggles during the trying period, he was moved to write lyrics that blend ancient realms with his personal experiences and combative spirit.
