ust like the Eurovision contest itself, the careers of Eurovision artists continue to flourish even after the competition. As we eagerly await the Eurovision 2025 winner in May, past Eurovision stars are treating us to a plethora of new music that keeps us entertained.

Ziferblat, the Ukrainian group set to represent their country at Eurovision this year, has released a new album titled “Of Us.” This album features seven tracks, including their Eurovision entry “Bird of Pray” and the emotional ballad “Place I Call Home.” The album is predominantly in English and combines powerful instrumentals with poetic lyrics. Tracks like “City” and “Good Boy, Good Girl” exude a groovy retro vibe, while others like “Reachin’ Out” and “Victoria” delve into deeper emotional themes. The title track, “Of Us,” is a poignant rock ballad exploring themes of life, time, and relationships, with lyrics reflecting on the journey of life and the choices we make.

Connect-R, Alex Velea, and Smiley, Romanian artists with a strong bond, have joined forces for the track “Așa Ceva.” The song is a lively Balkan glam anthem that celebrates their cultural roots. The lyrics are playful and flirtatious, centered around an encounter with an intriguing woman. Connect-R incorporates Romani elements into the song, paying homage to his Romani heritage.

Lithuanian group THE ROOP, who graced the Eurovision stage in 2021 and will return as interval acts in Eurovision 2025, have released a new album titled “Momentum.” The album features a mix of upbeat, danceable tracks like “Nasty” and “Kiss You,” alongside more melancholic tunes like “I Love You I Don’t Need You.” An unexpected inclusion is the vibrant Latin-inspired track “Chica Chico” sung in Spanish, showing THE ROOP’s versatility. The music video for “Steal Me” juxtaposes grey shades with bursts of color, conveying the message of love bringing meaning to life.

Miki, the Spanish artist who represented his country at Eurovision in 2019, collaborates with ESTHER on the track “Des d’aquí dalt.” The song blends retro dance vibes with a modern sound, exploring the theme of shared dreams and the comfort of having someone who understands you. The accompanying music video reflects on their personal and professional journeys, highlighting the importance of having someone by your side as life takes unexpected turns.

As the Eurovision 2025 season unfolds, we continue to enjoy the musical offerings of past Eurovision stars. Their creativity and talent shine through in the diverse range of music they bring to our ears, keeping us captivated and entertained.
