Perfect Sky, a hardcore band from Vienna, has recently unveiled a music video for their song “Hunting Demons,” which is also the title track of their 2024 EP released through WTF Records. Originating from the remnants of Proud of Ignorance in the late ’90s, during Vienna’s compact hardcore scene, Perfect Sky has a musical heritage spanning over 25 years. Shifting from traditional hardcore to a more metal-infused sound, the band forged its identity in an era before digital dominance, relying on word-of-mouth, live shows, and handwritten letters to spread their music.

After disbanding in 2003, the band remained dormant for 15 years until a chance encounter reignited their passion for music. Spontaneous jam sessions led to the formation of a new lineup, comprised of old friends, who eventually produced the EP “Hunting Demons.” The title track delves into the vocalist’s personal struggles with addiction and the transformative power of love, stability, and fatherhood in turning his life around.
