Metalcore band 7 Year War from Worcester set to debut first album
Worcester-based metalcore band 7 Year War is gearing up for the release of their debut album this summer, followed by a UK tour later in 2025. The trio, consisting of Tom Ball, Reuben Perks, and Samuel Jackson, came together in 2021 through the Worcester Rock School organized by Dragon Music.
The band’s journey began with mastering covers of popular bands like Trivium and Metallica before venturing into creating their own music. By the end of 2022, 7 Year War released their debut single “Thin Ice” and went on to record two more tracks, “Baby Killer” and “Fallen Angel” in 2023.
Their popularity soared as they landed opportunities to support international artists touring in the UK. Regularly performing at Spin The Black Circle in Worcester, the band’s presence in the local music scene has continued to grow. They recently played at the Slaughterhouse Festival in Birmingham and are set to perform at the Beermagedon Metal Festival in Stoke Prior.

Committed to delivering top-notch performances, 7 Year War’s blend of extreme metal and hardcore punk, known as metalcore, has resonated with audiences across the Midlands.
