Mammoth has shared a thrilling new single, “The End,” along with an accompanying music video, giving fans a taste of what to expect from their upcoming third full-length album. Lead by Van Halen bassist Wolfgang Van Halen on vocals and lead guitar, Mammoth is back with a bang as they release this high-energy track.

The new single, “The End,” starts off with a captivating lead guitar riff that has become a trademark element in Wolfgang’s music. The song kicks off with an anthemic intro that seamlessly transitions into a powerful verse melody, showcasing the skillful craftsmanship of both Van Halen and his collaborator Michael “Elvis” Baskette. The chorus delivers a memorable vocal melody with the message, “Take your hand in mine and watch the end with me.” Fans can now pre-save the song on all digital platforms for easy access.

Wolfgang Van Halen shared his thoughts on the creation of “The End,” mentioning that he had the tapping idea for the intro even before Mammoth came into existence. He describes the track as a blend of shreddy, melodic, and controlled elements, signifying a significant leap forward in his musical journey. The completion of “The End” left Wolfgang with a sense of pride and accomplishment, making it a special piece in Mammoth’s repertoire.

In conjunction with the release of the single, Mammoth also unveiled a music video for “The End,” directed by the legendary Robert Rodriguez. The video is a modern-day interpretation of Rodriguez’s 1996 cult classic, “From Dusk Till Dawn.” Set in a dive bar, the video follows the story of a rock band warned by the club owner, played by Danny Trejo, of impending danger. Ignoring the warning, Mammoth finds themselves in a precarious situation that unfolds dramatically, leading to a surprising twist that ties the entire video narrative together. The music video features appearances by friends of Mammoth, including Slash, Myles Kennedy, and Wolfgang’s mother Valerie Bertinelli. Horror effects master Greg Nicotero lent his talents to create zombies, werewolves, and vampires, adding a thrilling element to the video.

Mammoth, spearheaded by Wolfgang Van Halen, continues to carve a unique path in the music industry. Their formula of arena-sized hooks, powerful vocals, and Wolfgang’s unparalleled sonic expertise has garnered them a devoted global fanbase. The band’s success speaks for itself, with over 100 million streams, chart-topping albums, sold-out tours, and critical acclaim. Mammoth’s first two albums, “Mammoth WVH” and “Mammoth II,” solidified their position as a force to be reckoned with, earning them Grammy nominations and widespread recognition. As Mammoth gears up for the release of their third full-length LP, the band shows no signs of slowing down, continuing to push boundaries and captivate audiences worldwide with their innovative sound and infectious energy.
