ALOK to Perform Comedy Show in Omaha, NE

ALOK, who prefers the pronouns they/them, is a talented poet, comedian, public speaker, and actor with international acclaim. Their literary works, including “Beyond the Gender Binary,” “Femme in Public,” and “Your Wound, My Garden,” have gained recognition worldwide. ALOK’s captivating presence has entertained audiences in more than 40 countries, with sold-out performances at prestigious events such as the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and the Netflix is a Joke Festival. Their comedy special, BIOLOGY!, was produced by Christopher Guest, and they are also featured in the docu-short “ALOK,” executive produced by Jodie Foster and directed by Alex Hedison, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in 2024. ALOK’s on-screen appearances include roles in Complicated Order, The Trans List, and the upcoming film Absolute Dominion. Television viewers may recognize them from appearances on HBO’s Sex Lives of College Girls, Sort Of, and Random Acts of Flyness, as well as Hulu’s Planet Sex with Cara Delevingne, and Netflix’s Gender Agenda Comedy Special and Getting Curious with Jonathan Van Ness.

Please note that there is a 2-item minimum purchase requirement per person, which covers all beverages, food, and merchandise available at the Funny Bone.
