Club VERSE: May 2025 Events Preview – Get Closer to Japan
mid-May has arrived, and this month is slightly different for club VERSE as it will only open its doors twice, departing from the usual more frequent schedule. Significant work has been ongoing behind the scenes to enhance the virtual stage, resulting in a limited opening for clubgoers. The club will also be closed on the final Friday of May due to two major virtual events on the horizon.
The first big event scheduled for the end of the month is the highly anticipated theALL2025 music festival set for 31 May. Hosted in the virtual realm by ALLVERSE, this open-world festival will feature performances by 20 virtual acts across five unique stages in the popular VRChat platform. Following this grand celebration, on 1 June, loy, a virtual artist, will commemorate his 5th anniversary with a solo concert. Originally scheduled for December, the show was postponed and is slated to take place as part of the “loy Day” festivities.
Turning our focus back to club VERSE, the virtual hangout will open its virtual doors on only two occasions this month, specifically, on Friday 16 May and Friday 23 May.
For the uninitiated, club VERSE can be best described as a hybrid between a livehouse and a club environment, providing attendees with the opportunity to enjoy performances or unwind at the bar with a drink or game. Nestled within ALLVERSE World, a virtual reality space established in 2021, club VERSE sprang to life on 25 October 2024, coinciding with the second anniversary of ALLVERSE World. Positioned within VERSE CITY, an island metropolis, the club serves as a key entertainment hub within this digital landscape.
Each month, club VERSE boasts a lineup of diverse virtual musicians predominantly hailing from Japan, with schedules subject to change due to dynamic circumstances. For the most current information, visitors are encouraged to keep tabs on updates via the organizer’s social media platforms like loy.
Despite being a virtual entity, club VERSE has cleverly bridged the gap between the digital and physical realms through the sale of official merchandise. Originating from exclusive items offered during special club editions, a broader range of merchandise now features the iconic club VERSE logo.
