The idea for the glacier on Victor was developed by Boyne’s snow farmers prior to the ski season to leverage their new snow-gun equipment and ensure an extended season on the run. With a remarkably snowy winter, the team built up substantial snowpack and entertained the possibility of transforming Victor into a glacier. By concluding the ski season last weekend, the resort achieved its longest-ever ski season and announced that the remaining snow on Victor was being shaped into a Ribbon of snow, which got the attention of ski and snowboarding fans on social media. Boyne’s confirmation of Victor’s revival as a snowboarding hike park that will feature four to six reborn features this Saturday was met with enthusiasm online, with staff declaring, “Like a phoenix from the ashes, Victor RISES. Surprise Hike Park with 4-6 reborn features this weekend. Saturday from 9am-3pm.
