Robbie Williams has just unveiled the music video for his latest track “Rocket,” which features the legendary Tony Iommi from Black Sabbath on guitar. The song serves as the first single from his upcoming album, “BRITPOP,” set for release on Columbia Records later this year. Directed by Charlie Lightening, the video showcases Robbie sporting a punk-inspired ensemble, donning red tartan pants, a chain necklace, and a graffiti-covered leather biker jacket as he navigates through various iconic London landmarks alongside a spirited flash mob. Additional scenes were shot in Iommi’s hometown, Birmingham. Fans can catch the video by streaming it online.

The celebrated artist recently received the prestigious PRS for Music Icon Award at The Ivors 2025 in London. Held at Grosvenor House, this annual event commends exceptional accomplishments in songwriting and screen composing. Soft Play presented Robbie with his fifth Ivor Novello Award in honor of his remarkable songwriting career, characterized by numerous chart-topping hits, 15 UK Number 1 albums, and a profound connection with his audience. This recognition solidifies Robbie’s status as one of Britain’s most iconic and influential songwriters.

Robbie’s highly anticipated ‘BRITPOP’ stadium tour is slated to kick off this summer, offering fans the first opportunity to experience the new track “Rocket” performed live. The tour, originally named ‘Robbie Williams Live 2025,’ has been rebranded as ‘BRITPOP’ and is scheduled to commence in Edinburgh on May 31, followed by stops in London, Manchester, and Bath. Tickets and additional information about the tour are currently available for purchase.

Reflecting on his upcoming album ‘BRITPOP,’ Robbie shared, “I endeavored to create the album that I envisioned releasing after departing from Take That in 1995. It was a notable period for British music, marked by the emergence of Britpop and a vibrant music scene. Collaborating with some of my musical idols, this album exudes a raw energy, featuring more prominent guitar elements and a heightened sense of anthemic euphoria. With a fusion of British essence and pop sensibilities, I am immensely proud of this body of work and eager for fans to experience it. I am especially looking forward to performing select tracks from ‘BRITPOP’ during my upcoming tour, where I will kick off the shows in the UK.”
