AMORPHIS to Release New Album ‘Borderland’
AMORPHIS, the renowned Finnish melancholic progressive metal band, is gearing up to release its fifteenth studio album, “Borderland,” on September 26, courtesy of Reigning Phoenix Music. Following the success of their 2022 album, “Halo,” the band recorded the upcoming album earlier this year at Hansen Studios in Ribe, Denmark, under the skilled guidance of producer Jacob Hansen.
Expressing excitement about the upcoming release, AMORPHIS guitarist Esa Holopainen shared that “Borderland” marks the first time the band collaborated with Danish producer Jacob Hansen. Having previously recorded three exceptional albums at Jens Bogren’s studio, the band felt it was time to explore new horizons and discover the creative possibilities of working with a different producer.
To kick off the introduction to “Borderland,” AMORPHIS will be dropping a new single, “Light And Shadow,” on June 6, giving fans a taste of what to expect from the upcoming album.
