Nova Rock 2025 Introduces Red Stage with Fresh Design
Nova Rock 2025 is set to rock Nickelsdorf, Burgenland from June 11 to June 14, offering festival-goers a stellar lineup alongside a fresh take on the Red Stage. What’s more, the early bird ticket sale for the 2026 edition has already kicked off.
The Red Stage at Nova Rock 2025 has undergone a striking transformation with its new design. Gone are the days of mere light effects; instead, visitors will be welcomed by giant eagle wings adorning the side walls, complemented by two large screens. Amidst this new backdrop, renowned acts like Cradle of Filth and Dream Theater will take the stage. Festival director Ewald Tatar is gleeful as he exclaims, “The eagle has landed!”
Excitement is brewing around the performances lined up for Nova Rock 2025, with big names such as Iggy Pop, Wanda, Korn, and the highly-anticipated return of Linkin Park gracing the stages. Korn will take the spotlight as the first headliner on the festival’s opening day, followed by Linekin Park on Thursday. The action begins at 4:30 PM with Dead Poet Society setting the stage. The Red Bull Stage, also sporting a revamped look, will host a mix of international and local talents, with local bands scoring a chance to shine as the red-white-red openers, selected through a competitive process.
As Nova Rock 2025 kicks off, attendees can expect an eclectic musical journey with a lineup brimming with stylistic diversity and hard-hitting sounds. From Boston Manor to Rise Against, Slipknot to Powerwolf, the four-day festival promises a riveting experience. Linkin Park, featuring new vocalist Emily Armstrong, is also set to impress on the Pannonia Fields.
