Hanover’s Pleasant Hill Fairgrounds is set to host an electrifying event this June, the Rock On The Hill Music Festival, featuring a spectacular lineup of 17 bands. This one-day festival, curated by the Hanover Area Jaycees, is made possible with the generous support of Brightspeed Internet, Hanover Eagles #1406, and various local businesses and clubs. Attendees can look forward to a day filled with rock, alt-rock, and metal music across two stages from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Leading the pack is Florida’s Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, a powerhouse rock band, joined by Until I Wake, a post-hardcore group hailing from Buffalo, New York, as the co-headliners. As an exciting addition this year, the festival will host a new tattoo contest in collaboration with an artist from LoudMind Studios in Carlisle. Furthermore, the return of the cornhole competition promises some intense gameplay, with a grand prize of $500. Those interested in participating can do so for $10 and must bring their own bags.

The culinary experience at the festival will be equally impressive, with nearly a dozen local food and beverage vendors serving up delectable treats throughout the day. From Rock It Pizza to J&D’s Cheesesteaks, Antietam Dairy, Feelin’ Cockey, Trailer Trash Nachos, and Bake Mia Cookie, there will be plenty of scrumptious options to satisfy every craving. Additionally, attendees can browse through around two dozen craft and merchant stalls situated across the festival grounds.

Tickets for this not-to-be-missed event are available at a discounted rate online and can also be purchased at the gate for $35.
