Thankfully, with the new album, we weren’t tethered to a record contract, so we had the freedom to innovate and experiment without the pressure of external deadlines. This led to a more natural progression and allowed us to focus on crafting music that we genuinely enjoyed. The creative process was more intuitive and collaborative this time around, with a swift turnaround ensuring that the energy and enthusiasm of the initial sessions were captured and preserved on the final record. 
Banks acknowledges that their experiences working on previous albums left a lasting impact on the band and may have discouraged them from embarking on new recordings sooner.
