Disney On Ice brings ‘Find Your Hero’ tour to Manchester this Christmas

Disney On Ice is making a much-awaited return to Manchester with a captivating new show planned for this upcoming Christmas season.

Although it may seem premature to think about Christmas now that June has just rolled in, Disney On Ice is inviting everyone to a magical adventure set to unfold during the holiday festivities.

The iconic Disney characters, including Mickey and Minnie Mouse, in addition to a host of beloved characters from the Disney universe, will unite to bring families an incredible journey filled with unforgettable moments. Accompanied by classic Disney songs and exceptional ice skating performances, audiences will get the chance to rediscover the timeless tales that have captured our hearts.

The tour will take place across the UK, spanning various cities such as Birmingham, Nottingham, Newcastle, Aberdeen, and Belfast before making its way to the AO Arena in Manchester. This is a unique opportunity for families to witness famous Disney stories recreated on ice, in addition to being mesmerized by over 200 props and more than 200 different costumes designed to bring the characters to life.

Some of the timeless Disney tales that will be reimagined include Encanto, Moana, Frozen, The Little Mermaid, Sleeping Beauty, and Tangled, promising an enchanting experience for all ages. The Disney On Ice cast dedicate more than 550 hours to rehearse for each performance, perfecting their portrayal of the characters, while a team of choreographers, set, and costume designers work diligently to create a spectacle that will captivate audiences.

The magical Disney On Ice presents Find Your Hero tour will arrive at Manchester’s AO Arena from 10-14 December 2025, with tickets set to go on Three+ presale on Monday 9 June and AO Arena presale on Thursday 12 June, followed by the general sale on Friday 13 June, all at 9 am.

In a separate event, Barry Can’t Swim is set to headline a remarkable show at The Warehouse Project as part of the WHP25 program. The talented producer and solo artist, who hails from Edinburgh, will be offering a spectacular performance that includes a full live show and a DJ set, alongside an impressive lineup of supporting acts.

Barry Can’t Swim, also known as Joshua Spence Mainnie, has been making waves in the music scene, making a name for himself with notable achievements such as being shortlisted for the Mercury Prize, earning a nomination for Best Dance Act at the 2024 BRITs, winning DJ Mag’s ‘Breakthrough Producer’ award, and claiming ‘Best Dance Album’ for his latest record, When Will We Land?. His debut LP was a favorite among music enthusiasts, making his return to a prominent venue like The Warehouse Project an eagerly anticipated event.

As both Disney On Ice and Barry Can’t Swim prepare to enthral audiences in Manchester with their upcoming shows, it’s evident that a delightful blend of magic and music will reign supreme in the city this festive season.
