Triumph releases ‘Magic Power: All-Star Tribute’ album in a triumph.

ne of the most well-respected Canadian rock bands, Triumph, is being celebrated with a star-studded tribute album titled “Magic Power: All-Star Tribute to Triumph.” Released on June 6, 2025, the album features a lineup of renowned rockers such as Slash, Sebastian Bach, Nancy Wilson, Joey Belladonna, Dee Snider, and Deen Castronovo, covering classic Triumph songs. The album contains 15 tracks and includes contributions from drummers Kenny Aronoff and Tommy Aldridge, as well as guitarists Bumblefoot, Paul Gilbert, and Nita Strauss. The project was spearheaded by producer Mike Clink, known for his work with Guns N’ Roses, Motley Crue, and Whitesnake. Fans can enjoy the album on CD, vinyl, and special dark blue and white splatter vinyl formats.

Phil X, a fellow Canadian and member of Bon Jovi, expressed his excitement about the project, stating, “It is incredible to reconnect with my roots alongside my brothers Gil Moore, Mike Levine, and Rik Emmett. Triumph fans are sure to love this.” Deen Castronovo, drummer for Journey, acknowledged Triumph’s influence on his own musical journey, highlighting the impact of Gil Moore on his career as a drummer.

Sebastian Bach, known for his work with Skid Row, shared his admiration for Triumph, calling them “one of [his] favorite bands of all time.” He lent his vocals to their classic track “Rock & Roll Machine” for the tribute album. Dee Snider, lead vocalist for Twisted Sister, reflected on his first encounter with Triumph’s music, expressing his awe and honor at being part of the project. Nancy Wilson, acclaimed guitarist and member of Heart, received praise from Gil Moore for her contribution to the album, particularly on the track “Fight the Good Fight.”

Formed in 1975 in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, Triumph captured audiences with their cutting-edge live performances, showcasing advanced technology in lighting, sound, and effects. They were pioneers in incorporating sophisticated lasers, pyrotechnics, and moving lighting rigs into their arena rock shows. Triumph’s impressive stage presence was showcased in numerous memorable stadium and outdoor events, including the US Festival, the World Series of Rock, and the Texxas Jam.

The “Magic Power: All-Star Tribute to Triumph” album features standout performances by artists paying homage to the legacy of Triumph. The tracklist includes reimagined versions of classic Triumph songs such as “24 Hours a Day,” “Magic Power,” “Spellbound,” and “Never Surrender,” among others. With contributions from seasoned musicians and vocalists, the album captures the essence of Triumph’s music and legacy, ensuring that their influence continues to resonate with fans and fellow artists alike.
