Footage captures group of men being apprehended during suspected ICE operation in Little Havana
A recent video captures the moment a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement raid took place in northwest Miami-Dade, resulting in the arrest of 11 individuals. According to witnesses, the incident occurred at a residence near Northwest 118th Street 11th Avenue.
The ICE officials confirmed that Homeland Security Investigations carried out a work site enforcement operation in the area, leading to the apprehension of the 11 individuals who were residing in the country without legal documentation. The footage from Only in Dade displayed a group of workers from a paving company being handcuffed between 6 and 7 a.m.
No further details regarding the individuals detained have been released by the authorities. An ICE official shared a statement emphasizing that HSI’s task involves identifying and probing businesses engaged in worksite violations, worker exploitation, and ensuring compliance with federal employment eligibility requirements by the business sector.
