Motörhead is set to release a video for their 1976 previously unheard track ‘Leavin’ Here’ from the upcoming album ‘The Manticore Tapes’.

The album will feature songs recorded in 1976 with the ‘Three Amigos’ era of Motörhead, comprising Lemmy on bass/vocals, Fast Eddie Clarke on guitar, and Phil ‘Philthy Animal’ Taylor on drums. The band gathered at Emerson, Lake & Palmer’s renowned Manticore Studio in Fulham in August 1976 to rehearse and introduce the new lineup. During this time, they recorded together for the first time, and after nearly fifty years, this long-lost tape has resurfaced, been cleaned up, and restored to honor the legendary hard rock band’s 50th anniversary.

Scheduled for release on June 27, 2025, ‘The Manticore Tapes’ will contain a treasure trove of tracks. The first LP will include an Intro (Instrumental), ‘Leavin’ Here’, ‘Vibrator’, ‘Help Keep Us on the Road’, ‘The Watcher’, ‘Motörhead’, ‘Witch Doctor (Instrumental)’, ‘Iron Horse / Born to Lose (Instrumental)’, ‘Leavin’ Here (Alternate Take)’, ‘Vibrator (Alternate Take)’, and ‘The Watcher (Alternate Take)’. The second LP will feature a live set titled ‘Blitzkreig on Birmingham ’77’.

Additionally, there will be a 7″ live recording at Barbarella’s Birmingham ’77, featuring tracks like ‘Motörhead’ and ‘Keep Us On The Road’. Fans can also expect an intro, ‘Leavin’ Here’, ‘Vibrator’, ‘Help Keep Us on the Road’, ‘The Watcher’, ‘Motörhead’, ‘Witch Doctor (Instrumental)’, ‘Iron Horse / Born to Lose (Instrumental)’, ‘Leavin’ Here (Alternate Take)’, ‘Vibrator (Alternate Take)’, and ‘The Watcher (Alternate Take)’ on both LP and CD formats.
