‘Beauty In Chaos’ Releases Almost Acoustic Version of ‘Made Of Rain’
The alt-rock group Beauty In Chaos has recently released a new video and single titled “Made Of Rain (Almost Acoustic)”, featuring Ashton Nyte from The Awakening and Whitney Tai. This track is part of their double CD album “Signs In The Heavens Reality Upside Down”, currently available through 33.3 Music Collective.
The music video, directed by Vicente Cordero of Industrialism Films, offers a fresh take on the original song from “Dancing With Angels”. The album includes 29 tracks, with reworked versions from “Dancing With Angels” along with two additional tributes: “Children Of The Revolution” featuring Ministry’s Al Jourgensen, and “Open Your Eyes”, inspired by T.Rex and The Lords of the New Church.
Michael Ciravolo, the guitarist and founder of Beauty In Chaos, describes the collaboration with Ashton Nyte and Whitney Tai as “simply stunning”. He appreciates the minimalistic approach of the track, highlighting the haunting pedal steel by Michael Rozon and the tasteful violin by Heather Lockie. According to Ciravolo, this version allows Ashton’s words and melody to shine through.
Ashton Nyte himself explains that “Made Of Rain” conveys a message of hope and resilience, urging listeners to persevere despite life’s challenges. This acoustic rendition holds a special place in Nyte’s heart, with its organic elements creating a sense of transcendence. Whitney Tai, who has worked with Beauty In Chaos on multiple occasions, describes the duet as “a warm amber glow in a velveteen speakeasy”, emphasizing the deep friendship and shared passion for creating heartfelt art with Michael and Ashton.
The instrumental credits for this track include Ciravolo on electric guitar, Rozon on pedal steel, Tish Ciravolo on acoustic bass, Heather Lockie on violin, Dirk Doucette on percussion, and Taylor Vlasaty as the flower girl. “Signs In The Heavens Reality Upside Down” is available for digital download and as a limited-edition double CD.
Beauty In Chaos, founded in 2018 by Ciravolo in Los Angeles, features a revolving door of collaborators and draws inspiration from post-punk, gothic rock, and alternative genres. Throughout their releases, such as “The Storm Before The Calm”, “Out Of Chaos Comes…”, “Dancing With Angels”, and the latest “Signs In The Heavens Reality Upside Down”, the collective has showcased cross-genre collaborations with various artists.
