Two residents of the Valley graduate from OSP Training Academy and return home
Two talented individuals from the Mahoning Valley have recently returned home after successfully completing the rigorous training program at the Ohio State Highway Patrol Training Academy. William Caldwell, hailing from Salem, and Vincent Greenwood, a resident of Vienna, were part of the 176th graduating class at the academy. Both officers will now be stationed at Ohio State Highway Patrol posts right in the Valley, with Caldwell assigned to the Lisbon post and Greenwood to the Canfield post.
The exhaustive training program these new officers underwent spanned over 28 weeks and equipped them with the necessary skills and knowledge to tackle the myriad responsibilities that come with being a member of the OSP. From ensuring public safety on highways to addressing emergencies and enforcing traffic laws, these officers are now ready to take on the challenges of their profession.
The graduation ceremony, which took place at the OSP Training Academy in Columbus on Friday, June 20, marked the official commencement of their journey as fully-fledged Ohio State Highway Patrolmen.
