A former Marine Corps veteran and construction worker, Benoit turned to music after his return to New Orleans post-Katrina. Since then, he has been on an extensive tour, including prominent events like Jazz Fest, Telluride Blues & Brews, and various European concerts. His upcoming album, Mid-City, promises to showcase his unique blend of musical styles and storytelling abilities.

To build anticipation for the album’s release, Benoit plans to drop three singles throughout the summer, each accompanied by a music video directed by Michael Brouphy. In 2024 alone, he and his band graced fifteen major music festivals, including the French Quarter Festival, the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival, the W.C.
