GWAR to embark on 40th anniversary tour in Fall 2025, featuring The Return of Gor Gor
GWAR, the iconic shock rock band, has unveiled plans for their Fall 2025 tour, titled The Return of Gor Gor Tour, in honor of their 40th anniversary and the revival of their legendary dinosaur character, Gor Gor. The tour will commence on October 18th in Salt Lake City and will feature support acts including Helmet, The Dwarves, and Blood Vulture as they traverse North America. This tour aligns with the forthcoming multimedia release, The Return of Gor Gor, set to debut on July 25th through Pit Records and Z2 Comics. Tickets for the tour will go on sale this Friday at 10:00 AM local time.
Blothar, a member of GWAR, emphasized the importance of sacrifice and love in relation to Gor Gor, stating, “Gor Gor demands sacrifice! The Tyrant Teen is all grown up and he wants love! Don’t look him in the eye!! The beast demands a bride! Come in your bridal finery. An ocean of chiffon to satisfy the bloodlust of the great lizard!”
