Apple Music has announced the launch of a brand new studio located near its headquarters in Culver City, offering an expansive 15,000-square-foot space designed to function as a versatile creative hub that welcomes musicians for a variety of activities such as radio interviews, music composition and recording, photo shoots, and video content production.

Slated to open during the upcoming summer season, the Apple Music Studios will become the primary home for top-tier programs on Apple Music Radio, including the renowned Zane Lowe Show. While specific details surrounding the financial investment into developing the studio have not been disclosed by Apple, the space is clearly characterized by its sleek and modern design, mirroring Apple’s signature aesthetic. Featuring warm wooden floors, modern black walls, and punches of vibrant color, the structure is equipped with two spacious radio studios that have been fitted with state-of-the-art spatial audio speakers built directly into the ceilings.

Additionally, the rooms boast customizable lighting and screen settings, along with discreet surveillance cameras integrated within the walls. Distinctively adaptable, these studios are capable of accommodating a range of activities from interviews to intimate live performances for a selective audience. Apple Music’s senior leader Oliver Schusser spoke to The Hollywood Reporter regarding the vision behind the studio, stating that the company aspires for the space to become an inclusive environment for artists, songwriters, or any creative individual to freely engage in content creation, interact with their fanbase, or collaborate with fellow artists. The studio serves as Apple Music’s interpretation of the intersection between contemporary technology and the realm of arts and creativity.
