Oasis has excited fans with news of a 30th-anniversary deluxe edition of their seminal album ‘(What’s The Story) Morning Glory?’ set to be released on October 3 by Big Brother Recordings. The reissue promises never-before-heard unplugged versions of five beloved classics, including ‘Cast No Shadow,’ ‘Morning Glory,’ ‘Wonderwall,’ ‘Acquiesce,’ and ‘Champagne Supernova.’

Available for pre-order now, the special edition will be released in various formats, such as a limited edition 2CD, 3LP colored vinyl, and digital versions. This comes on the heels of last year’s hugely successful 30th-anniversary edition of ‘Definitely Maybe.’ The upcoming release will feature freshly remastered tracks, alongside acoustic renditions, updated artwork by the original sleeve designer Brian Cannon, and new sleeve notes.

The album’s original release in October 1995 catapulted Oasis to stardom and has since sold over 22 million copies worldwide, with 5.5 million sold in the US alone. It still holds the title as the UK’s third best-selling studio album of all time and was recently named the Most Streamed Album of the ’90s by National Album Day, with ‘Definitely Maybe’ trailing closely behind.

As Oasis gears up for their highly anticipated Live ’25 tour, which will include stops in Cardiff, Manchester, London, Edinburgh, Dublin, and a worldwide tour featuring shows in Australia, the reissue comes as a timely celebration of the band’s iconic career. The globe-trotting tour will see the band play at venues such as Marvel Stadium in Melbourne and Accor Stadium in Sydney, with the introduction of augmented reality experiences and exclusive digital content through the Live ’25 Map Experience app developed in collaboration with Google Maps Platform and Modern English.

Fans of the band are encouraged to engage with the interactive digital companion app, which allows them to explore band landmarks in each tour city, from historic venues and pubs to merchandise stores, unlocking AR experiences and exclusive tour footage. As part of the tour festivities, fans can also share their journey through YouTube Shorts for a chance to be featured on Oasis’ official YouTube channel.
