In the music world, legendary American-British rock band Foreigner is making waves with its much-anticipated tour, featuring the reunion of its original lead singer, Lou Gramm. The band’s upcoming tour is in celebration of their latest album, “Foreigner 4 Deluxe,” slated for release in September. This album marks the band’s 50th anniversary and will showcase special super deluxe editions of their iconic 1981 multi-platinum album, “4,” which boasts classic hits like “Juke Box Hero,” “Break It Up,” “Luanne,” “Urgent,” and “Waiting For a Girl Like You.”

Reflecting on the process of recording their fourth album, Foreigner’s guitarist Mick Jones expressed pride in the collaborative effort with Lou Gramm, Rick Willis, Dennis Elliot, and himself to create something truly remarkable. Jones highlighted the importance of getting it right and the satisfaction of achieving something special during that period. He emphasized the significance of the stunning Atmos mixes presented in this album, encapsulating a pivotal time in his life.

The band’s lineup, including members such as Luis Maldonado on lead vocals/guitar, Jeff Pilson on bass, Michael Bluestein on keyboards, Bruce Watson on guitars, and Chris Frazier on drums, is gearing up to commemorate five decades of music with a series of headlining tour dates. Notably, original lead singer Lou Gramm will make guest appearances during the tour, adding a historic touch to the performance of songs he helped create nearly 45 years ago.

“We had the pleasure of touring Mexico and South America earlier this year with the incredible Lou Gramm,” Maldonado shared. “The experience of performing and being together was fantastic, and we are eager to collaborate with Lou once again.” Recognizing Gramm’s significant role in the writing and recording of the iconic “Foreigner 4” album, Maldonado expressed excitement about the historical dimension Gramm’s presence will bring to their upcoming tour.
