Kevin Parker hints at upcoming Tame Impala album on Instagram
Tame Impala may soon unveil a new album, as hinted by Kevin Parker’s recent Instagram post. The potential release would mark the band’s first studio album in five years since 2020’s “The Slow Rush.” In the post, Parker shared 19 photos offering glimpses of his daily life, both with family and in the studio. The final image disclosed a whiteboard displaying a list of at least 13 unidentified items, most likely representing new songs. Each item was ticked off with checkmarks and the word “Done,” indicating completion.
Amidst the speculation surrounding the new album, Justice has announced that Parker will be among the DJs to open on their Australian tour in December. Furthermore, during a DJ set at the Nitsa Club in Barcelona, Parker provided a sneak peek of new Tame Impala music. His words to the audience, “You’re going to be the first ones to hear it, you realize? There’s no going back from this point on, you realize?” only heightened anticipation among fans.
