Amy Allen, known for her role as a Jedi in Star Wars, set to appear at Geek’d Con 2025
Geek’d Con, Shreveport’s annual comic convention, is making its triumphant return to Downtown Shreveport this August for its 10th Anniversary celebration. From August 22nd to 24th, 2025, the Shreveport Convention Center will host a weekend full of exciting opportunities to engage with your favorite celebrities, explore over 200 vendor booths, and enjoy quality time with friends and family.
For attendees, the convention offers a diverse array of vendor spaces showcasing comic book retailers, handmade crafts, collectibles, vintage toys, artwork, and a variety of other merchandise. With vendors coming from all across the United States and locally from Shreveport-Bossier, fans will have the chance to buy, sell, and trade their favorite items throughout the weekend.
One of the main draws of Geek’d Con is its impressive lineup of celebrity guests. This year, fans can look forward to meeting Amy Allen, known for her role as Aayla Secura in the Star Wars Prequel Trilogy. As one of the first female Jedi to be featured on-screen, Allen’s portrayal of Aayla Secura has become iconic, inspiring various collectibles, toys, and video games. Voice actors Brian Tochi, Robbie Rist, and martial artists Ernie Reyes, Jr. and Kenn Scott, who portrayed the four Turtles, will be joined by Francois Chau, known for his role as The Shredder in the TMNT film universe.
