Shinedown dropped their latest single, “Killing Fields,” marking the third release from the band in 2025. The track has arrived just in time for the start of the second leg of their Dance, Kid, Dance Tour, which is scheduled to commence on Saturday at TD Garden in Boston. Joining them as opening acts for the 25-date run of U.S. arena shows this summer will be Bush and Morgan Wade. While there has been no official confirmation yet, fans speculate that a new album might be on the horizon as the band continues to release new music. This latest offering follows the success of their previous singles, “Three Six Five” and “Dance, Kid, Dance,” which were unveiled in January. Notably, the latter track’s commercial triumph propelled Shinedown to become the first band to achieve 20 career No. 1 hits on the Billboard Mainstream Rock chart.

In other news, the city recently held a groundbreaking event at Seminary and Franklin, where land has been generously donated to developers to facilitate the construction of four new homes. Meanwhile, a pizzeria in Danville has changed owners, and County Board Chairman Steve Miller is optimistic about making significant progress on the ongoing animal shelter issue. On a different note, a planned project involving a cannabis dispensary, truck stop, and restaurant south of I-74 is currently at a standstill due to concerns regarding utilities.

Excitement is brewing among Shinedown fans as they anticipate the band’s upcoming tour and eagerly await more details about a potential new album. With the latest single, “Killing Fields,” adding to their impressive discography, the band continues to captivate audiences with their signature sound and electrifying performances. As they gear up to hit the stage once again, accompanied by talented opening acts Bush and Morgan Wade, concert-goers can expect a night filled with unforgettable music and high-energy entertainment. Stay tuned for more updates and announcements from Shinedown as they continue to make waves in the rock music scene.
