Strange Nuts Release ‘Mirage’ Music Video
Creepy Nuts recently released an official music video for their track titled “Mirage,” which serves as the season two theme song for the anime series, Call Of The Night.
The dynamic duo of Creepy Nuts, consisting of DJ Matsunaga and R-Shitei, is no stranger to contributing their music to Call Of The Night. They previously provided the first season theme song, “Daten,” as well as the closing theme for season one, “Yofukashi no Uta.” Another one of their tracks, “Lost Time,” was also featured in the series.
In a statement reported by Crunchyroll, R-Shitei discussed the concept behind Creepy Nuts’ involvement in Call Of The Night, saying:
“Season 1 portrayed the night as a sanctuary of dried kindness for those it saved, while Season 2 delves into the night’s dampness where people unload their regrets and attachments. It depicts the struggles of adults coming to terms with these emotions. As someone who has stayed up late for two decades, I can’t help but see it as someone else’s problem. I’ve been trying to detach myself and live in the morning and afternoon, but I find it challenging. This song delves into the complex relationship between myself and the night.”
Creepy Nuts will be embarking on a tour across Japan and various Asian countries in the upcoming weeks and months. Their song “Mirage” perfectly captures the essence of this talented duo, who continue to captivate audiences with their unique sound and passion for music.
Please keep an eye out for further updates on tour dates and ticketing information. The video for “Mirage” can be viewed to experience the musical artistry of Creepy Nuts. Stay tuned for more exciting content from this dynamic duo as they continue to make their mark in the music industry.
