Warped Tour to Return to Long Beach in 2026
Warped Tour is set to make a comeback to Long Beach in 2026 with presale tickets available starting Friday morning. Despite the buzz around the event, no bands have been confirmed for the lineup yet.
The iconic music festival recently concluded a two-day extravaganza, drawing in a massive crowd of around 85,000 music enthusiasts to enjoy performances from approximately 130 acts. Mayor Rex Richardson hailed the event as the “biggest punk rock festival in California history,” lauding the attendees for making it a fun and safe weekend in Long Beach.
The upcoming 2026 festival is scheduled to take place at the same venue on July 25 and 26, offering general admission tickets starting at $149.98. Attendees can also opt for VIP passes, with presale tickets including an exclusive Warped Tour pin for early buyers. Similar to this year’s event, no bands have been announced for the 2026 edition as of yet.
The festival is marking its 30th anniversary this year with multiple two-day events across the country, including recent stops in Washington D.C., Long Beach, and an upcoming show in Orlando in November. Presale tickets are already available for next year’s Washington D.C. event, continuing the celebration of this milestone year for Warped Tour.
Reflecting on the success of the recent Long Beach festival, Richardson expressed his gratitude to the community and visitors, emphasizing the festival’s significance in the punk rock scene. He commended the attendees for making it a memorable weekend, noting the diverse lineup of artists that graced the stage.
Despite the overall positive reception, some attendees voiced concerns over the event’s crowd size, with many feeling that the festival was oversold and overcrowded. Criticisms included the lack of space, shade, and overall layout of the event grounds. Some even compared the festival to other incidents in the music industry, expressing relief that it didn’t escalate into a dangerous situation.
While feedback was mixed, some attendees defended the festival, citing its 30th-anniversary status and the long-awaited return of the event after a seven-year hiatus as justifying the high turnout and perceived overcrowding. Overall, the anticipation for the 2026 edition remains high, with fans eagerly awaiting the announcement of the lineup and additional details about the festival.
