Warning: Sensors Calling in Danger – Vive Le Rock

0

Raver-metal originators SENSER have made a comeback with their first new music release in over a decade. “Ryot Pump” serves as a preview of their upcoming seventh studio album, Sonic Dissidance, the successor to 2013’s To The Capsules, slated for release on October 17th.

Describing “Ryot Pump,” the band expresses that it embodies their most straightforward and unequivocal call to action to date. They characterize the song as intensely focused and to the point, with a lively rhythm akin to the loading of a pump action. Initially depicting the heightened state of riot police, who are often transported from rural areas and eager to employ state-backed violence in defense of corporate interests, the track transitions to condemn all contemporary forms of fascism. Ultimately, it shifts the perspective to engage the listener directly, demanding a response.

Having emerged onto the UK music scene during the era of rave culture, Senser’s unique fusion of hip-hop, metal instrumentation, and sharp, socially conscious lyricism offered a refreshing alternative to the prevailing mediocrity of Britpop, exemplified by the success of their debut album, Stacked Up, which peaked at number four in the UK charts.

Scheduled to hit the road in September and October, with a performance lined up at the Shine On festival in November at Minehead Butlins, the band is gearing up for a series of live shows. They promise an explosive and high-energy experience, featuring classic anthems like “Eject” and “Age of Panic,” as well as new, hard-hitting tracks that challenge fear-based control mechanisms and shed light on the discord of modern life – all delivered with a seismic force that resonates deeply.

The tour dates include stops in Bristol, Brighton, Sunderland, Grimsby, Pelu Belgium, Southampton, Swansea, Birmingham, London, and culminate with the appearance at the Shine On Festival in Minehead on November 14th. Tickets and pre-orders for the album are now available, offering fans a chance to experience the electrifying sound and message of SENSER firsthand.
