Weezer, Garbage, Refused, and others added to Good Things Festival lineup
Good Things Festival is set to present one of its most ambitious line-ups to date in December of this year, featuring an eclectic mix of alternative, punk, metal, and rock acts. The headliner for the 2025 edition is TOOL, marking their first performance at an Australian festival since Big Day Out in 2011 and their first nationwide tour in over five years. TOOL will showcase an array of career-defining tracks from albums such as Ænima and Fear Inoculum.
In addition to TOOL, the festival will feature power-pop and alt-rock legends like Weezer, grunge-era icons like Garbage, pop-punk favorites All Time Low, and groove metal veterans Machine Head. The line-up also includes The All-American Rejects, who will make their first appearance in Australia in 16 years, and Swedish hardcore pioneers Refused, set to play their final shows in Australia. US heavyweights Knocked Loose and Lorna Shore will return after recent sold-out tours, along with New Found Glory, Make Them Suffer, Dayseeker, and ARIA Hall of Famer James Reyne.
In addition to the music, Stage 666 will offer sideshow acts that include Lizardman, Jacqueline Furey, Captain Ruin, and Kill Your Pop Stars’ Ozzy Osbourne tribute. These acts will provide an added element of entertainment with fire-breathing, sword-swallowing, stunt performances, and rock karaoke.
The festival is scheduled to take place in Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane in December. The event promises a mix of nostalgia and chaos with performers such as Kublai Khan TX, Cobra Starship, Goldfinger, Tonight Alive, Bad Nerves, Civic, Dead Poet Society, Fever 333, GWAR, High Vis, Inertia, Palaye Royale, Scene Queen, South Arcade, Wargasm, Windwaker, and Yours Truly, along with the chaos of Stage 666.
The Good Things Festival line-up stands out as one of the most diverse and compelling in recent memory, spanning a wide range of musical styles and genres. Fans can expect an electrifying experience that combines nostalgia and innovation, chaos and control, and a celebration of the incredible talent and creativity present in the world of music today. With a line-up that features both established legends and up-and-coming stars, the festival promises to deliver an incredible weekend of live music and entertainment that will resonate with fans for years to come.
