Tommy Clufetos, the accomplished drummer known for his performances with Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath, has introduced a new hard rock project called Tommy’s Rocktrip. Through this endeavor, Clufetos showcases his interpretation of the rock ‘n roll influences that have distinguished him as one of the most sought-after drummers in today’s hard rock scene. The band recently unveiled a fresh single entitled My Wild Child (Dana’s note: Different from the popular W.A.S.P. track, Wild Child). Feel free to give My Wild Child a listen below.

Clufetos expressed in a recent statement that the new song is designed to “blast through your speakers, encouraging you to unleash your emotions and electric energy flow freely.” The current roster of Tommy’s Rocktrip includes three members from Lost Hearts – Max Frye on vocals and guitar, JT Shea on bass, and Victor Adriel on guitar.

Scheduled to perform with Ted Nugent as the opening act in August, Tommy’s Rocktrip is set to embark on five shows. Additionally, the band will headline a concert on September 12th at The End in Nashville, Tennessee.

In May 2021, Tommy’s Rocktrip dropped their debut album, Beat Up By Rock ‘N’ Roll (available for streaming here) through Frontiers Music Srl. The album features Eric Dover, renowned for his work with Jellyfish, Slash’s Snakepit, and Alice Cooper, as the lead vocalist. However, Tommy took the microphone for three tracks on the LP. The supporting cast for the album includes Eliot Lorengo on bass, Hank Schneekluth on guitar, and Nao Nakashima on guitar.

Prior to his time with Ozzy Osbourne in 2010 and subsequently Black Sabbath’s last two world tours, Clufetos collaborated with rock legends such as Ted Nugent, Alice Cooper, and Rob Zombie.

Fans have drawn comparisons between Tommy’s Rocktrip and Skid Row’s track Makin’ A Mess, appreciating the shared passion for hard-hitting, energetic rock music.
