Billboard recently released its World Albums chart for the period ending on August 16th, showcasing the top performers in the world of music. Maintaining its dominance for the second consecutive week, TXT’s “The Star Chapter: TOGETHER” secured the top spot on the chart while also holding steady at No. 43 on the prestigious Billboard 200 for a second week. BTS’s remarkable live album “PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE – LIVE” continued to impress, maintaining its position at No. 2 in its third week on the World Albums chart. Additionally, their 2022 anthology album “Proof” made a strong comeback, climbing back to No. 7 after spending an impressive 165 weeks on the chart.

ENHYPEN’s latest mini album “DESIRE: UNLEASH” showcased its staying power by rising to No. 3 in its 10th week on the World Albums chart, while their previous album “ROMANCE: UNTOLD” made an impressive leap to No. 17 in its 56th week. ATEEZ’s “GOLDEN HOUR: Part.3” maintained its momentum at No. 4 in its eighth week on the chart, with ILLIT’s “bomb” maintaining its spot at No. 5 in its seventh week.

Stray Kids, the talented group that continues to capture hearts, secured a total of four albums on the chart this week. Their special album “合 (HOP)” maintained its position at No. 9 in its 34th week, with “ATE” rising to No. 10 in its 55th week. The group’s albums “ROCK-STAR” and “★★★★★ (5-STAR)” also saw success, with them climbing to No. 22 and No. 23, respectively.

As the chart continues, SEVENTEEN’s “HAPPY BURSTDAY” experienced a significant climb, taking the No. 13 spot in its 11th week. BTS member Jimin’s “MUSE” also found itself at No. 14 in its 55th week, showcasing the enduring appeal of his music. NewJeans marked an incredible milestone by celebrating 100 non-consecutive weeks on the chart for their album “Get Up,” securing the No. 15 spot. BTS member Jin’s “Echo” held its ground at No. 20 in its 12th week, while BLACKPINK’s “THE ALBUM” maintained its position at No. 24 in its 110th week.
