Chrissie Hynde’s latest album showcases star collaborations and emotional depth
Rock legend Chrissie Hynde is set to release her latest album, Duets Special, featuring collaborations with 13 talented musicians, including Brandon Flowers, Debbie Harry, and the late Mark Lanegan. As the creative force behind the Pretenders, Hynde’s musical influence is undeniable.
One of the standout tracks on the album is “Always On My Mind,” which features Rufus Wainwright. Reflecting on the genesis of the album, Hynde shared that the idea of creating a duets record first came about in 2023 during a conversation with Rufus Wainwright’s husband.
