GRAMMY-winning musical duo Twenty One Pilots have unveiled their latest single, Drum Show, as the second offering from their upcoming album Breach, set for release on September 12, 2025, through Atlantic Records. Accompanying the track is a compelling music video shot in the band’s hometown of Columbus, Ohio and directed by longstanding collaborator Mark Eshleman.

Fresh off the success of their previous release, The Contract, which has become the band’s most significant debut song to date and currently holds the top spot on Billboard’s Alternative Airplay chart, marking their 12th career #1 on the chart. The Contract has also earned a nomination for Best Rock at the 2025 MTV VMAs.

Premiering earlier today on BBC Radio 1 as the station’s “hottest record,” Drum Show provided insight into the narrative and theme behind Breach thanks to Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun, the masterminds behind Twenty One Pilots’ creative process.

Breach represents the duo’s seventh studio album, set to delve deeper into the intricate universe of lore that has been present in their music since their album Blurryface. The album will be available in three exclusive collector’s box sets, namely the Dark Clancy Edition, Nova Bishop Edition, and Torchbearer Edition, each presented with distinct packaging and bonus items like posters, booklets, stickers, and a bandana.

To support the album release, Twenty One Pilots have announced The Clancy Tour: Breach 2025, an extensive North American stadium and amphitheater tour with the first show taking place on September 18 at Cincinnati’s TQL Stadium (already sold out), culminating with two nights at Los Angeles’ BMO Stadium.

Twenty One Pilots first emerged on the music scene in 2009 in Columbus, Ohio. Initially a three-piece act led by Tyler Joseph, the band later solidified into the iconic duo of Joseph and drummer Josh Dun in 2011. Their breakthrough moment arrived with the release of their major-label debut album Vessel in 2013, gaining them popularity through relentless touring and genre-defying singles.

Their global acclaim was solidified with the 2015 album Blurryface, featuring hits like “Stressed Out” and “Ride.” The single “Stressed Out” went on to win a GRAMMY Award for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance, establishing Twenty One Pilots as one of the most prominent rock acts of the decade.

Renowned for blending elements of rock, hip hop, pop, and electronic music, Twenty One Pilots have built a dedicated fanbase that engages with the narratives woven throughout their discography. Characters like Clancy, Nico, and the Dema universe bring a storytelling experience to each release, making it more than just an album.

Their equally electrifying album history includes releases such as “Twenty One Pilots” (2009), “Regional at Best” (2011), “Vessel” (2013), “Blurryface” (2015), “Trench” (2018), and “Scaled and Icy” (2021), leading up to their upcoming album “Breach” (2025).

With a tracklist boasting songs like “City Walls,” “RAWFEAR,” “Garbage,” “The Contract,” and more, the anticipation for “Breach” is palpable amongst fans and critics alike.
