TXT, ENHYPEN, ATEEZ, BTS, ILLIT, Stray Kids, SEVENTEEN, and other groups achieve top rankings
Billboard recently released its World Albums chart for the week ending on August 23rd. TXT’s “The Star Chapter: TOGETHER” fell to the second spot after holding the number one position for two weeks. It is now in its fourth week on the World Albums chart and also occupies the 125th spot on the Billboard 200 chart for a third consecutive week.
ENHYPEN’s “DESIRE: UNLEASH” remains steady at number three after 11 weeks on the World Albums chart, with their previous album “ROMANCE: UNTOLD” making a comeback to the 13th position after 57 weeks.
ATEEZ’s “GOLDEN HOUR: Part.3” maintained its fourth-place ranking in its ninth week on the chart. BTS dominated the next two spots, with their live album “PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE – LIVE” securing the fifth spot in its fourth week and their 2022 anthology album “Proof” climbing to sixth place after 166 weeks.
ILLIT’s “bomb” held its position at number seven after eight weeks on the chart. Stray Kids demonstrated an impressive feat by simultaneously charting four different albums, with “合 (HOP)” at number 10 after 35 weeks, “ATE” at number 11 after 56 weeks, “ROCK-STAR” at number 23 after 40 weeks, and “★★★★★ (5-STAR)” at number 25 after 52 weeks.
SEVENTEEN’s “HAPPY BURSTDAY” took the 14th spot after 12 weeks on the chart, followed by BTS’s Jimin’s “MUSE” at number 16 after 56 weeks. NewJeans’ “Get Up” secured the 18th spot after 101 weeks on the chart, while BTS’s Jin’s “Echo” claimed the 22nd spot after 13 weeks.
Lastly, BLACKPINK’s “THE ALBUM” maintained its position at number 24 after 111 weeks on the chart. Congratulations to all the artists who made it to the Billboard World Albums chart this week!
