The events, Bourbon & Beyond and Louder Than Life, are expected to generate over $42 million in economic impact for the area, contributing to a total of more than $50 million from 15 different events scheduled throughout the month.
Bourbon & Beyond, scheduled to run from September 11-14 at the Highland Festival Grounds, is anticipated to attract around 210,000 music enthusiasts and create an economic impact exceeding $24 million. Following closely, Louder Than Life will take place from September 18-21 with an expected attendance of approximately 160,000 people, contributing another $18 million to the local economy.
Earlier this year, Danny Wimmer Presents, the organizers of both festivals, solidified a 10-year agreement with Kentucky Venues to host the events.
