Bon Jovi set to drop new album in October
Jon Bon Jovi and his band are gearing up for the release of their new collaboration album titled “Forever (Legendary Edition)” on October 24. The upcoming 14-track album will feature a variety of renowned artists joining the rock band for some exciting musical partnerships. To get fans even more hyped for the release, the lead single “Red, White and Jersey” will drop on August 29.
The inspiration behind this album stems from Bon Jovi’s vocal cord surgery and subsequent rehabilitation journey. The rocker openly shared that while he was in the studio recording, his vocals were up to par, but the demands of touring were still beyond his reach. This realization led him to bring together a group of talented friends, including James Bay, Robbie Williams, Jelly Roll, Lainey Wilson, Avril Lavigne, and Bruce Springsteen, to create this collaborative project. Reflecting on his surgical experience, Bon Jovi likened it to an athlete sustaining an injury from overuse.
