In Leavenworth, Washington, the FBI initiated a thorough two-day investigation near the Rock Island Campground, the location where Travis Decker’s three daughters tragically lost their lives in early June. Despite this intensive effort, officials clarified that there were no significant developments in the investigation and Decker’s current status remains unknown.

Travis Decker, a former serviceman, has been a subject of interest since June 2, when authorities discovered his truck along with the deceased bodies of his daughters – 9-year-old Paityn Decker, 8-year-old Evelyn Decker, and 5-year-old Olivia Decker – at the campground in the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest. Following a visitation weekend, Decker failed to return the children to their mother’s residence in Wenatchee, prompting concern and subsequent investigation.

Recent revelations have pointed to Travis Decker as the primary suspect in the tragic deaths of his three daughters. Prompted by this unsettling development, law enforcement officers, including around 100 FBI agents, embarked on a challenging exploration, navigating the rugged landscape near Leavenworth. As part of this exhaustive search effort, diving teams planned to revisit Icicle Creek to access areas that had previously been inaccessible due to logjams.

During a press briefing, Sheriff Mike Morrison of Chelan County and Peter Orth, the FBI’s supervisory senior resident agent in Yakima, underscored the ongoing uncertainty surrounding Decker’s fate. Despite the lack of concrete evidence, they emphasized the need for meticulous investigation. Orth highlighted the dense vegetation in the area, pointing out the ease with which someone could veer from designated trails and remain undiscovered.

Law enforcement teams carefully combed through the vicinity, conducting a methodical grid search within a quarter-mile radius around the campground. To incentivize potential leads in locating Travis Decker, the U.S. Marshals Service has issued a substantial reward of up to $20,000 for information that leads to his apprehension.

As authorities maintain their relentless efforts to uncover the truth behind this devastating incident, the search for Travis Decker continues. With the hope of shedding light on this harrowing case and providing closure to the grieving family, investigators remain committed to pursuing all avenues of inquiry.
