Billboard’s World Albums chart for the week of August 30 has been released, showcasing the dominance of several prominent K-pop acts and solo artists in the international music scene.

Leading the pack is TXT with their album “The Star Chapter: TOGETHER,” reclaiming the No. 1 spot for the third time. The album has also maintained its position on the Billboard 200 at No. 178 for the fourth consecutive week. The rise continues for ENHYPEN, as their latest mini album “DESIRE: UNLEASH” surged to No. 2 in its 12th week on the chart. Meanwhile, their previous release, “ROMANCE: UNTOLD,” remained a mainstay on the chart, holding firm at No. 14 for its 58th week.

BTS continues to impress with their 2022 anthology album “Proof,” climbing back to No. 3 after a remarkable 167 weeks on the chart. Additionally, their live album “PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE – LIVE” prevails at No. 5 in its fifth week. ATEEZ’s “GOLDEN HOUR: Part.3” maintains its place at No. 4 in its 10th week, showcasing their enduring popularity among global audiences.

ILLIT’s “bomb” makes a significant jump to No. 6 in its ninth week, signaling the artist’s rising presence on the World Albums chart. Stray Kids, another powerhouse in the K-pop scene, secured four entries on the chart this week. With “合 (HOP)” at No. 8, and “ATE,” “ROCK-STAR,” and “★★★★★ (5-STAR)” holding positions at No. 12, No. 22, and No. 23, respectively, it’s clear that Stray Kids’ music resonates with fans worldwide.

G-Dragon of BIGBANG made a strong return to the World Albums chart with “Übermensch” at No. 10, marking its seventh non-consecutive week on the chart. BTS member Jimin’s solo endeavor “MUSE” climbed to No. 15 in its 57th week, highlighting his individual artistry. NewJeans’ “Get Up” stands at No. 16 in its 102nd week, followed by SEVENTEEN’s “HAPPY BURSTDAY” at No. 17 in its 13th week.

BLACKPINK’s “THE ALBUM” surprised listeners by catapulting to No. 21 in its 112th week, showcasing the enduring appeal of the group’s music. Finally, BTS member Jin’s “Echo” landed at No. 24 in its 14th week, further solidifying the group’s dominance on the global music stage.
