Preview Robert Plant’s upcoming album with new song ‘Chevrolet’

Renowned musician Robert Plant has recently unveiled the latest offering from his upcoming album, “Chevrolet,” following the earlier releases of “Everybody’s Song” and “Gospel Plough.” This track is actually a reinterpretation of Donovan’s 1965 hit “Hey Gyp (Dig the Slowness),” which itself was inspired by a blues song from the 1930s. Plant’s musical journey often delves into the roots of music, as seen with his cover of Memphis Minnie and Kansas Joe McCoy’s “When the Levee Breaks,” a classic Led Zeppelin track.

The highly anticipated album, “Saving Grace,” is set to be released on September 26th, marking Plant’s 12th solo record and his first since collaborating with Alison Krauss on “Raise the Roof” in 2021. Plant formed the band Saving Grace in 2019 alongside Suzi Dian, Oli Jefferson, Tony Kelsey, Matt Worley, and Barney Morse-Brown, creating a dynamic blend of voices and instruments that captivates listeners with its innovative sound.
