Billboard recently released its World Albums chart for the week ending on September 6, showcasing a diverse array of K-pop artists taking over the top spots. Stray Kids captured the No. 1 position with their latest album “KARMA,” marking their seventh consecutive album to reach the pinnacle of the Billboard 200, solidifying their status as the group with the most No. 1 albums on the chart in the current century.

In addition to their chart-topping success with “KARMA,” Stray Kids boasted five albums on the World Albums chart this week. Their album “合 (HOP)” surged back to No. 4 in its 37th week, while “ATE” climbed to No. 11 in its 58th week, “★★★★★ (5-STAR)” maintained its position at No. 14 in its 54th week, and “ROCK-STAR” achieved No. 17 in its 42nd week on the chart.

TXT, after a three-week streak at No. 1, fell to No. 2 with “The Star Chapter: TOGETHER” in its sixth week on the World Albums chart. ENHYPEN’s “DESIRE : UNLEASH” secured the No. 3 spot in its 13th week, while their 2024 album “ROMANCE : UNTOLD” lingered at No. 16 in its 59th week. ATEEZ’s “GOLDEN HOUR : Part.3” held strong at No. 5 for the 11th consecutive week.

Meanwhile, the global sensation BTS showcased their enduring popularity on the World Albums chart. Their 2022 anthology album “Proof” claimed No. 6 in its 168th week, and their recent live album “PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE – LIVE” followed at No. 10 in its sixth week. ILLIT’s “bomb” maintained its position at No. 7 in its 10th week on the chart, while BTS member Jimin’s solo album “MUSE” rose to No. 12 in its 58th week.

NewJeans’ “Get Up” made a comeback to No. 15 in its 103rd week on the chart, with SEVENTEEN’s “HAPPY BURSTDAY” rounding out the top 20 in its 14th week. BLACKPINK’s “THE ALBUM” secured the No. 24 position in its 113th week on the chart, showing the enduring appeal of the K-pop powerhouse.
