FNC Entertainment Debuts New Group AxMxP in 2025, Full Album to be Released on September 10
FNC Entertainment, a leading entertainment company, shook the K-pop industry by debuting their new boy band, AxMxP, with a full-length album on September 10, 2025. The quartet launched themselves onto the scene with a showcase at Seoul Olympic Park’s Olympic Hall, attracting fans and industry professionals eager to witness their musical prowess. Unlike the typical debut strategy of K-pop groups, which usually involves releasing a digital single or EP, AxMxP decided to debut with a full album, a move that set them apart and showcased their confidence in their abilities.
The eponymous debut album of AxMxP boasts 10 tracks, including three title tracks: “I Did It,” “Shocking Drama,” and “Love Poem.” The theme of the album revolves around an “emotional storm,” capturing the rollercoaster of emotions experienced during youth. Starting with more accessible tracks like “Calling All You” and “Love Poem,” the album gradually progresses towards powerful rock numbers like “Headbang,” “I Did It,” and “Buzzer Beater,” showcasing their musical versatility and range.
The band members of AxMxP each bring a unique talent to the table. Vocalist, rapper, and main dancer Ha Yoojoon, born on July 6, 2005, is a versatile performer who recently made an appearance as the male lead in the SBS drama “Spring of Youth.” Drummer Cru, born on June 27, 2006, originally named Joshua C. Berryman, adds an international flair to the group with his American nationality. Guitarist and vocalist Kim Shin, born on November 22, 2006, stands at an impressive 190 cm tall, while bassist Juhwan, the youngest member at 15 years old, showcases his talent after transitioning from his former career as a child actor.
Prior to their official debut, AxMxP engaged in various pre-debut activities, generating buzz and excitement around their launch. FNC Entertainment announced plans for the band back in February 2024 and positioned them as the opening act for FTISLAND’s Asia tour in Taipei. Subsequently, the group made an appearance at the 2024 Love FNC Countdown event in Seoul, signaling their imminent debut and giving fans a taste of what was to come.
Following a line of successful bands under the FNC Entertainment banner like FT Island, CNBLUE, and N.Flying, AxMxP hopes to make a mark in the industry with their explosive energy and powerful music. The group’s name, an acronym for “Amplify Music Power,” embodies their ambition to elevate music to new heights and captivate audiences worldwide. Scheduled to perform at the prestigious Busan International Rock Festival on September 28, 2025, AxMxP is on track to make a significant impact on the K-pop scene with their unique sound and performance style.
By opting for a full album debut over a digital single, AxMxP signaled their dedication to establishing themselves as serious artists in the competitive K-pop landscape. This strategic move underlines their confidence in their musical prowess and showcases the depth and breadth of their artistry. As they step into the spotlight, AxMxP promises to shake up the music scene and leave a lasting impression on the hearts of K-pop fans everywhere.
